Experience in machining industry preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare HMC/VMC machines for production as per process requirements
Perform job setting, fixture setting, tool setting, and offset correction
Load and unload tools, fixtures, and components safely and accurately
Ensure proper machine alignment and clamping before machining operations
Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and programs
Conduct trial runs and approve first-piece inspection before production
Monitor machining operations and maintain dimensional accuracy
Make minor program corrections and offset adjustments when required
Change cutting tools and monitor tool life during production
Coordinate with quality and production teams to achieve production targets
Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and setting-related issues
Ensure optimum machine utilization and reduce setup time
Maintain coolant levels, lubrication, and basic machine housekeeping
Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the machine shop
Maintain production records, tool records, and setup checklists
