Quality Assurance

In-house sand and metal testing laboratories, online spectrometer monitoring, and ZEISS CMM inspection, backed by IATF 16949:2016, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 certifications to ensure strict dimensional and metallurgical quality control.

Quality Control Facilities

Quality Control Facilities

Quality is ensured at every stage of our manufacturing process through advanced testing, automated inspection, and strict process controls. Our facilities include metallurgical and sand testing laboratories, mechanical property validation, and 100% PLC-based leak testing to ensure material integrity and functional reliability.

Advanced inspection systems such as endoscopic cavity checks, particle analysis, and ZEISS metrology equipment including CMM, contour, and surface roughness measurement ensure precise dimensional accuracy. Supported by IATF 16949:2016, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 certifications, our quality systems deliver consistent performance and global reliability.

Our quality systems also include in-process SPC monitoring, air gauging, and Andon-based controls to detect variations in real time. Every cylinder head undergoes endoscopic inspection of internal cavities and advanced cleanliness validation through particle analysis. Traceability systems with permanent marking ensure complete production history, while precision tool presetting and controlled machining processes maintain consistent accuracy across high-volume production.

Quality control beyond expectations

Our quality systems go beyond standard inspection through real-time monitoring, advanced metrology, and 100% validation processes. From raw material testing to final inspection, every stage is controlled to ensure consistent precision, reliability, and performance.

Metallurgical Inspection Lab

Every heat undergoes online chemistry verification using spectrometer analysis with real-time digital results, enabling furnace adjustments before pouring. Microstructure examination verifies graphite morphology, pearlite/ferrite ratio, and absence of undesirable phases.

Mechanical Properties Inspection

Sample test bars undergo tensile, elongation, and hardness testing to validate strength and durability under engine operating stresses and temperatures.

Sand Testing Lab

Incoming and in-process resin-coated sand is tested for resin content, grain fineness number, stick point temperature, tensile strength, and moisture to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

PLC-Based Leak Testing

Every cylinder head undergoes automated dry and wet leak testing for water galleries, oil galleries, intake ports, and exhaust ports to ensure complete sealing integrity.

Valve Seat Leak Testing

Dedicated fixtures simulate installed valve conditions to verify proper valve-to-seat contact and ensure sealing performance meets specified leak rate standards.

In-Process Quality Controls

Automated gauging, SPC monitoring, air gauging systems, and Andon visual management provide real-time dimensional tracking and production status visibility.

Endoscope Inspection for Critical Cavities

100% inspection of internal cavities including water jackets and oil galleries to detect sand blockages, fused deposits, casting veins, and hidden internal defects.

Cleanliness & Particle Analysis

Flushed and filtered samples undergo microscopic particle size and composition analysis to ensure compliance with customer cleanliness standards.

ZEISS CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

Full 3D dimensional inspection compares as-machined geometry to CAD models with micron-level accuracy and generates detailed reports for approval and PPAP.

ZEISS Surface Roughness Tester

Measures Ra and Rz values on critical sealing surfaces such as deck faces, valve seats, and gasket areas to ensure consistent finish quality.

ZEISS Contour Measuring Machine

Profiles complex 2D geometries including valve seat angles, combustion chambers, and port contours with graphical deviation comparison to nominal data.

Tool Presetter

Off-machine tool presetting ensures accurate tool setup, reduces spindle downtime, and maintains machining precision across production batches.

ZEISS T-Scan Hawk 2 - 3D Scanning

Advanced 3D scanning technology supports new product development and identifies casting variations through detailed geometric deviation analysis.
