Strong knowledge of foundry equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of foundry equipment and machinery
Maintain induction furnace, molding line, sand plant, shot blasting machine, compressor, EOT crane, and utility equipment
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults to minimize production downtime
Handle maintenance of motors, drives, PLCs, panels, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
Ensure smooth operation of furnace and material handling equipment
Monitor machine performance, vibration, temperature, and abnormal conditions
Carry out lubrication, alignment, fitting, and inspection activities
Maintain power distribution systems, MCC panels, and electrical safety systems
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all foundry machines
Conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns and implement corrective actions
Coordinate with production and process teams for uninterrupted operations
Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance consumables
Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment
Maintain maintenance reports, breakdown records, and checklists
Ensure implementation of TPM, 5S, and safety standards in the foundry area
Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors during maintenance activities
Work on reducing machine downtime and improving equipment efficiency
