Strong knowledge of VMC/HMC machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC, SPM, and conventional machines
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize machine downtime
Maintain machine accuracy, alignment, lubrication, and overall performance
Handle maintenance of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, sensors, control panels, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Monitor and maintain utility equipment such as air compressors, coolant systems, and pumps
Conduct daily machine inspection and ensure smooth production operations
Analyze root causes of machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and machine history reports
Coordinate with production and tool room teams for machine availability and efficiency
Ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables
Support machine installation, commissioning, and shifting activities
Implement TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement activities in maintenance
Ensure electrical and mechanical safety compliance inside the machine shop
Supervise technicians and maintenance manpower during shifts
Work on reducing machine downtime and improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
